I love reading from a number of different things be it Book, Comic Books, or Japanese Manga. Some of my favorite pieces of media have come from these outlets. I'll be giving a list of some of my favorites from each of the three categories.
| Favorite Books | Favorite Comics | Favorite Manga |
|---|---|---|
| Mistborn | God Country | Hunter x Hunter |
| The Creative Act | Hellboy | Magi |
| The Odyssey | The Umbrella Academy | Chainsaw Man |
These are some of my favorites that I have read throughout my life. But my favorite out of all of these would be Hunter x Hunter. A Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi released in 1998. It follows Gon Freecs as he travels the world in search for his father.
This series has been going since 1998 but has been plagued with multiple hiatuses due to the author's own health issues which stemmed from his first serialization YuYu Hakusho. This has given him more time than the standard week to write and illustrate a single 14 - 17 page comic. He has now been granted the ability to publish his story at his own pace which has made this current stretch of the story into one of my favorites of all time.
