Out of the three, media has probably been my most used. I love watching anything from YouTube videos, reels, movies, TV shows, and anime. I'll be talking about one of my favorite movies Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert and produced by the Russo brothers who are known for Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. Starring Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, James Hong, and Jamie Lee Curtis. The story follows Evelyn Quan Wang who, while being audited by the IRS, must connect with versions of herself throughout the multiverse to prevent a powerful being from destroying the multiverse.
This story has stuck with me for years after watching it and has been one that I revisit every year. It has themes of finding personal meaning and love in an overwhelming and chaotic universe. The main villain of the story is Evelyn's daughter Joy, who has the ability to feel everything and be everywhere in the universe at all at once. She comes to the conclusion that nothing matters. What Evelyn says to her in this scene is perfect and encapsulates the whole meaning of the movie. Also please note that this is a very absurd movie, so some scenes will be weird and unexplainable without actually watching the film.
